WORKSHOP: MOVING AcROSS CULTURES

Workshop for first year students at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie designed and hosted together with Miriam Bestebreurtje (Director Bachelor Education)

As you start your journey at the Rietveld Academie, you will enter an environment with people of various cultural backgrounds. Are we aware of how much we are influenced by our own cultural background? And do we have the sensibility to recognize that potential misunderstanding comes expectations that we consider the ‘norm’? In this workshop we will move around cultural difference and playfully map ourselves and our cultures.
